Program Director

 

Jane Nofer, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of children with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs).  She has worked in diagnostic clinics serving children with autism in several university settings, including the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, The University of Chicago and the Albany Medical Center.  Dr. Nofer has also consulted with public schools on educational issues concerning students with ASDs.  She now works at The Children’s Annex in Kingston, NY, a private school which serves children with ASDs, where she is Clinical Department Head and Clinical Director of the Center for Diagnostic and Consultation Services.  In addition, she trains researchers and clinicians at universities around the country in the use of diagnostic instruments for individuals with ASDs.

 

 

Clinical Consultant

 

Adriane Maier, Ph.D. is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who specializes in autism spectrum disorders.  She has worked providing counseling, social skills training and behavioral services to adults and children within clinical, residential and school settings.   Adriane is presently working as a Clinical Consultant at the Center for Diagnostic and Consultation Services at the Children’s Annex where she conducts comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, teaches specialized workshops and provides educational consultation to school districts.
